Happy New Year Everyone!

So many events happened in latter half of last year, and we just lost track of time. We haven’t blogged in a while, so time to get back at it!

We had the pleasure of photographing some of our best friends’ engagement pictures. Our son was one of the ring bearers for the wedding, which was already an honor for us. We had a blast, being that we could just let them be themselves, and let their fun and ecstatic nature take over. Congrats to the newly Mr. & Mrs. Kepa! Drayden Senior Portraits

Hi All!  For the last (minute lol) senior portrait of the season, we got to work with Drayden!

I first met Drayden back when he was in elementary school.  His mom and I were college classmates, and man was it quite a difference seeing him now and remembering him back then!  He grew quite a bit (not really, more like a lot haha) and got to know him a little more during his session. 

Congrats on making it this far Dray!  Continue to prosper and looking forward to what the future has in store for you!  So lucky you get to go to Japan for your graduation present!  Dress up and go meet up with some anime fanatics while you are there!

Happily Ever Hopps

Hey everyone!  It has been a crazy month filled with such crazy weather!  With on and off rain accompanied with sudden winds, who knew what type of weather wedding day was going to have for us!  But with faith and the grace of God, we were able to have a beautiful day in the East side of Oahu!  We had the pleasure of having Glenn of Dreamlight Portraits, join us on this beautiful day.

I've known Joseph for a few years through photographing some of his fights (yes people, he is a fighter as well lol).  When he contacted us (after scoldings from Bethe for taking too long haha) and asked us if we would shoot their wedding, we knew we wouldn't say no!  It was quite the sight seeing a different side of Joseph, and we were glad to finally/officially meet the woman who has had Joseph's heart for years.  I can see why!  You guys are so cute together!

Throughout the day, we shared many laughs with this fun and crazy family!  It was such a beautiful day and we were blessed to have been a part of it.  Thank you guys for having us, and we wish you and your beautiful family many blessings for the years to come!   Check out a few sneak peeks we have of their big day!

Rained In & Shooting With The Crew At O2

On a cold and winter night... Is it even winter yet?  It was definitely cold haha :)

Hey all!  Last night, we decided to pay a visit to our friends over at O2 Martial Arts Academy.  One of their fighters, Matt Lascola, was going back home to Pittsburgh after making Hawaii and especially O2 his home for the last several years.  Starting as a wrestler, he honed his skills at O2, and eventually became a force to be reckoned with. 

Matt collected a number of championship belts during his time here in Hawaii, and wanted to record his memories not only with the belts, but also with his brothers, who also had belts to show off in their own regard.

Be sure to remember the name, Matt Lascola.  He is leaving our lovely home with only 1 loss in many kickboxing and mma fights, and leaving with a perfect pro record in MMA.  We will miss you Matt!  Remember us here in Hawaii when you make it even bigger!

A Wedding with Tui & James

Professing your love for one another is always a lovely site, especially when doing so in front of the Lord.  A quick ceremony took us to Hawaii First Samoan Assembly of God with Tui & James.  The way you see friends and family come together to celebrate such an occasion, is an eye opening sight.  Tears from emotional moments accompanied by laughter from jokes with a mother, this wedding was nothing short of momentous.  Congrats Tui & James!  May the good Lord bless you time and time again, and congratulations!

Little Sister Is A College Graduate

Happy Saturday everyone!

With graduation season finally here, we join our friends and loved ones to help celebrate their achievements!  Gosh I remember my high school and college graduations.  To see my friends and family there with me to share in the moment, it was was without a doubt, a joyous occasion!

Seeing my sister graduate with a Bachelor's degree is another one of those fine moments that I will remember for the rest of my life.  Of course, I had to get some shots in for her sake :)
